Do you try to eat clean? I try to eat as healthy as possible. I will be the first to tell you that I’m as guilty as the next person having too many ‘cheat’ days or meals. I will also tell you that I will grab bottled salad dressings, granola bars, etc., at the store for those quick meals when I’m in a hurry or just want to stash something for those last-minute friend and family gatherings. I do like mixing up balsamic dressings at home and making my own almond butter cookies and such when I make time. I try to stay away from too many processed things if I can, but sometimes life gets busy and we reach for the quick stuff, don’t we? We eat our fair share of salads, greek yogurt, and lean meats around our house, but still grab those quick KIND granola bars (which are not that bad when you read the ingredients list, google them and see what you think about the KIND bars)
Here’s an interesting article by Eatingwell magazine that I thought I’d share with you readers on some processed foods you can easily make at home. This article might inspire you to get back to the healthier, cleaner way of eating.
