This morning, I was in a bit of a tizzy to get to work and hadn’t packed my lunch the night before or even thought about it. So, I quickly scanned over my cabinets and fridge to see what I had to choose from. I saw I had one flatbread left in a package, some tuna, some cream cheese and a tomato on the counter I knew was not going to last all week if I didn’t eat it. Plus, I had some baby whole dill pickles I threw in my lunch bag for a quick snack later. So here is the wrap I made for lunch. Would you believe it was so filing and just good! Especially on a hot summer day. in case y’all haven’t noticed yet, it’s August, and it’s hot outside. So here goes:
1 tbsp chives and onion cream cheese spread (that’s all that was left in the container)
2 chunk light tuna to go cups in water by Chicken of the sea
1 – Flat out multigrain wrap with flax
1 – fresh tomato, 4 slices
1 – kosher dill whole baby pickle, sliced
Start with the Flatout wrap on a flat surface. Spread the cream cheese on the bread, then layer the tomatoes, tuna and pickles. Later this long ways down the center of the wrap. Fold like a burrito and enjoy!!
The juiciness of the tomato and the cream cheese made this delish for me! I hope this inspires you to create your own wraps with those leftover ingredients you have laying around you kitchen!
I made this as one serving for myself, but you could cut I in half and save she for later or the next day if you are watching carbs.
